Consultation on Draft Data Management Policy and Guidelines

DRN succeed on bringing Data Management Policy and Guideline Framework for local governments (LGs) of Nepal.  LGs have significant role for managing data and statistics under the existing constitutional and legal framework. It has been believed that the guideline could aid accuracy in planning, policy formulation, and decision-making of local governments.

DRN collaborated with The Asia Foundation for the stakeholder Consultation on Draft Data Management Policy which gathered together the Municipal Association, Rural Municipality, data experts, IT officials, and other concerned stakeholders.

Dr.Sudhamshu Dahal and Associate Professor Ms. Rukamanee Maharjan presented on the Draft Data Management Policy and Guideline. The meeting successfully compiled feedback and suggestions provided by the participants to finalize the draft.
