We’re excited to announce the beginning of Nepal Digital Rights School 2026, with the first edition successfully concluded in Biratnagar, Koshi Province, on 6–7 August 2026.

Bringing together journalists from diverse backgrounds and experiences, the two-day Digital Rights School created a space to learn, question, share, and build practical skills for navigating an increasingly digital world. The sessions explored digital rights and responsibilities, inclusion and digital access, information integrity in the digital age, fact checking, digital literacy and online safety, digital security and safe online practices, and responsible digital participation, alongside interactive discussions, knowledge-sharing, peer exchange, and practical learning focused on building a safer, more inclusive, and rights-respecting digital space.
The journey has just begun!

We look forward to taking Nepal Digital Rights School 2026 to more communities, creating spaces where everyone can understand their rights, strengthen their digital skills, and become active voices for a better digital future.
