On July 15, Digital Rights Nepal (DRN), in collaboration with Digital Rights Action Group (DRAG), organized a Stakeholder Consultation on the Draft Personal Data Protection Policy – published by E-Governance Board for suggestions and feedbacks collection from public.
The event brought together participants from different sectors—including civil society, legal experts, journalists, private companies, and human rights defenders, to examine and discuss the draft policy’s implications on privacy, digital rights, and governance.
We sincerely thank all participants for their thoughtful contributions, which will help in strengthening the discourse around data protection and ensuring the policy reflects the voices and concerns of the broader community.
