Promoting Digital Safety and Information Integrity: A session with the legal community successfully concluded!

Organized by Digital Rights Nepal (DRN), on 11 February 2026, in collaboration with the #Women’s Committee, High Court Bar Association Patan, and with support from Digital Democracy Initiative, the program brought lawyers together to reflect on digital safety, information integrity practices, and the role of law in safeguarding rights online.

Graced by Chief Guest Lal Bahadur Kunwar, Chief Judge of High Court Patan, and distinguished guests, with insightful sessions led by Santosh Sigdel, ED of DRN and @Deepak Adhikari, Nepal Check.

The session focused on digital safety and digital hygiene practices, identifying misinformation, and highlighting the importance of critical thinking in addressing information disorder. It reinforced that protecting rights in the digital space is not only a professional obligation, but also a commitment to continuous personal learning.
